Inspiring and meaningful investigations into the complexities of visual communication.
More about us...
We met as students at Herron School of Art + Design, Indianapolis. Afterwards, we pursued different paths, Lisa in theater, fashion design, printmaking, photography and art education. Frank branched into architecture, forensic science, creative writing, and sculpture. We rejoined each other while in Vietnam and Cambodia, and have continued to collaborate in our lives and art practices. Lisa has taught art in the United States, Japan, Vietnam, India, and Jordan. Frank recently completed a Master of Fine Arts degree at Herron School of Art + Design, and we now present ourselves as a teaching couple.
Between the two of us, we have experience in printmaking, painting, textiles, ceramics, sculpture, photography, public art, digital design and fabrication, and art history/theory. We immerse our students in historic and contemporary art movements, and numerous art methods and technologies. Our studio and teaching practices are also steeped in service to the communities where we live, through collaborations with the local and regional artists. Our goal is to infuse an arts program with our enthusiasm, moving students toward expression, engagement, and strong academic futures.
